Annual Vic Ferrari July 3rd Celebration Cancelled

​

MANITOWOC, WI – June 10, 2020 – Each year on the eve of Independence Day, thousands of concert-goers rock the night away at the Vic Ferrari July 3rd Celebration, a free concert in downtown Manitowoc brought to you by Brennan Seehafer Productions. The annual event features live music by the Vic Ferrari ensemble with a portion of refreshment sales benefiting Gumby’s Club Fore a Cure (helping local families affected by cancer).

The event draws approximately 10,000 people each year with over 125 volunteers organized by Gumby’s Club for a Cure. Event organizers have been closely monitoring the situation with COVID-19 and the continued guidance to avoid large gatherings. With due regard for the safety and health of all attendees, performers, organizers and volunteers, and after much consideration for hosting a successful and safe event, Brennan Seehafer Productions, Vic Ferrari Enterprises and Gumby’s Club Fore a Cure have decided to cancel the 2020

.

“This popular annual event attracts an estimated 10,000 attendees. Therefore, erring on the side of caution, we’ve made the difficult decision to cancel this year,” remarked event producer Brennan Seehafer. “While “The show must go on!” is in our DNA, based on the information that we have today, we know that cancelling this year’s event is the right decision for everyone’s well-being. We will continue to work hard to bring you the unique events you love as the situation improves.”

Organizers acknowledge that, in an unexpected year of overwhelming cancellations, this will come as an enormous disappointment. Those who are interested in supporting the mission of Gumby’s Club Fore a Cure, can make donations directly from the Gumby’s Club website.

The July 3rd Celebration in Downtown Manitowoc starring Vic Ferrari will return in 2021.
